Can of Old Automotive Permatex Clutch Fluid for
Approximately 1956
The Permatex company
started in 1906 making shellac. In 1915
it made a head gasket compound for a race car driver named Depalma.
This is the old seamed steel can measuring 3 7/8” x 2 1/8” with
surface rust on the seam, top, and bottom.
The side of the can is in fine shape with some small scratch wear areas
with light rust in them.
It is a great automotive product with great colored
graphics. These real old auto product
containers will be going up in value with all the car collectors and museums
trying to find go-withs for their car
collections. Good luck to fellow and
